You Don’t Have to Be Afraid
“I will not leave you or abandon you. Be strong and courageous… (Joshua 1:5-6, CSB).
Have you ever been afraid?
I’ll never forget searching Google to see how many kinds of fears there are, and I finally had to stop at 530. Needless to say, there’s a lot we can fear!
But as I thought about this, I found it interesting that we see fear in the first recorded conversation between God and man. After Adam and Eve sinned and God came to walk with them in the Garden, they hid because they were afraid (see Genesis 3:10).
We haven’t stopped fearing since.
But what if fear is the only obstacle between you and your destiny? What if fear is what’s keeping you from God’s best for you?
Let me encourage you: God’s plan for you is for good and not for evil. And His promises will help you and not harm you (see Jeremiah 29:11). No weapon formed against you can prosper (see Isaiah 54:17). God isn’t finished with you; He has so much more for you!
