Called Out Ones
And he subjected everything under his feet and appointed him as head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way (Ephesians 1:22-23, CSB).
The word church comes from the Greek word ecclesia, which means “an assembly” or “called out ones.” From this, we can see that when God talks about the church, He isn’t referring to a building. He’s referring to a people, and you and I are those people!
Because of this, I want to encourage you not to go through the motions of “doing” church. Instead, we need to purpose ourselves to “be” the church that God created us to be! Will you commit with me to do that today?
This is your moment to move forward!
