Notice the present tense. Not the Lord “was” or “will be” my Shepherd. Here and now, He is what we need and is present with us. Jesus Himself said in John 10:11,
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
The truth is, everyone has a shepherd. But is Jesus yours? Is money? Career? Status? You?
When you receive Jesus, not only as your Savior but as your Shepherd, you’ll experience His peace and provision in amazing ways.
