God is in Control

Series Inspiration: It’s Time to Rest

“Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant” (2 Samuel 7:28).

Worry, stress and anxiety paralyze us with fear; and fear is a strategy of the enemy to stop us from moving forward.

But when we remember that God is in control, the anxiety in our lives will decrease. When we accept what we can’t change, and take responsibility for the things we can, we will stay in peace.

The key is to trust God. And in order to trust Him, we must believe He is worthy of our trust. When we believe God is good and does good, then we will continue to trust Him even when our circumstances aren’t good.

Make a decision today to stop talking to your friends or even yourself about things you can’t change. Start talking to God instead. He cares about you and everything that matters to you!
