It Is Finished: What One Word from the Cross Changes About Your Identity

When Jesus bowed his head on the cross and said, "It is finished," he wasn't admitting defeat. He was shouting victory. In the original Greek, it is a single word — tetelestai — a business term meaning "all is completed, paid in full." Written at the bottom of a debt. Stamped across a record of what was owed. And at Calvary, Jesus wrote it across yours.
