What Seems Unlikely to You is Highly Likely to God
Do you ever think it would be much easier just to give up on your hopes and dreams because they seem too far-fetched? Maybe you feel it was foolish to think that God would use you in a powerful way or to believe he would make a way where you can’t see one? We’ve likely all had thoughts like this at some point. And these thoughts can help us see what’s really going on: we’re relying on ourselves to make things happen in our lives instead of trusting in God. We can get so preoccupied by looking for our own answers and our own solutions, that we no longer expect them from God. Those are the times to remember that even when we can’t see a way forward that makes sense to us, God does. Because God has always been in the business of using unlikely people and unlikely things at the most unlikely times to provide for His children. He’s amazing that way. Don’t ever lose hope. It may look like that breakthrough, the great promotion, a good medical report, or a healed relationship will ever come to pass—but that’s when you can expect God to show up! This episode will empower you to believe that no matter where you are, and however unlikely it seems, you are the perfect candidate for God to do absolutely amazing things in your life.
Miracles Are Not Your Job
The ingredients for a miracle are always in our midst. But so often when we don’t see the end result, we devalue the ingredients. All too often we limit the space for God to move in our lives without even realizing it. One of the biggest ways we do this is by telling God why we can’t do something, why some plan won’t work, or a long list of things we don’t have that we think we need. But here’s the thing - God isn’t asking us to create the end result of the miracle, that’s His role. He is only asking us to give Him all of the ingredients He has put in our hands and then trust Him to make a way.
Trust that God is good and will do good, even when you don’t know how, and create space for Him to do more good things in your life than you could ever think or imagine.
