The Passion Principle
The passion principle is the whatever principle. Paul said to the Colossians, “Whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord, you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23-24)
This principle encompasses all our life—both the sacred and the secular. We’re to do whatever whole-heartedly. Full of joy. Full of passion! The condition of your heart will determine the potency of your passion—and every part of our life should bear witness to the life of the Holy Spirit living in you.
Passion Is An Issue of the Heart
The Christian life is not a behavior modification program, but a heart transformation process. The strength of a passionate life is pouring our heart and soul into whatever we’re doing. God tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence, because everything flows from it (Proverbs 4:23).
In this episode, Christine teaches you what to do when you show up as the Church on the front lines of life, only to find it difficult to put your heart into something.
