God Wants to Bless You

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers (Psalms 1:1-3). Can you imagine what it would be like if everything you did prospered? Well, God wants to pour out this kind of blessing on your life! And when you live according to biblical principles, you give God room to move in powerful ways. David says in the Psalms that God will bless the person who is always thinking on His Word. What an amazing promise! As you study God’s Word, He will give you wisdom in your relationships, your work, you school and even your hobbies! He has the answer to every question and the solution to every problem. So today, lean into His truth. Stay in step with Him. He will bless every amount of effort you give to advance His Kingdom. He is for you!

Run to Jesus

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). This morning, I want you to know that you can approach God’s throne with confidence! Jesus has made a way for you to come before Him free from guilt and shame. So, don’t hold back! Run into His open arms today.

God Opens Doors

“See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name" (Revelation 3:8). Today, remember that promotion comes from God alone. He keeps His eyes on the humble and rewards the person who is seeking Him. As you stay faithful, He will open doors for you!

For The Lord!

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving (Colossians 3:23-24). We all have different roles in life—mother, friend, doctor, husband, brother, teacher, daughter, son—the list could go on and on. But no matter what your role is, the truth applies that you are to live as unto the Lord. This means you don’t have to focus on people and what they think of you. You are living for God. His approval is the only one you need, and you can trust Him with the role He has assigned to you in this season of your life. Remember, God is pleased with you and He will see you through. So, whatever you do today, do it with all your heart ... for the Lord!

Loving the Body of Christ

And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister (1 John 4:21). I love the local church! And I’m still old-fashioned enough to believe that the church is the hope of the world. But if we are to effectively share the truth of the Gospel with the lost, we need to make sure we are reflecting it within the body of Christ – and that means loving one another. So, make it a priority to encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ. Let them know you are for them and thinking of them. Together, as the church, we will reach a lost and broken generation with Christ’s love as we love each other!

Made to Love God

And He said to him, "‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the great and foremost commandment" (Matt. 22:37-38 NASB). I’ve said it many times before, but let me remind you today: Your highest calling is to love God! From that place, your work, your ministry, your family and everything else in your life will fall in line with His plan for you. Today, let’s keep first things first and do what we were created to do – and that’s love God!

Trust in God's Sovereignty

God is always good. He rules over the nations, but He is also involved in the most detailed parts of your life. So, today, trust that He has your best interest at heart. Believe that His sovereign plan will cause you to prosper. You won’t be disappointed—guaranteed!

Live with Passion

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). As Christians, we are not called to be boring. We are called to live life to the fullest! So whatever your God-given destiny is, embrace it with passion! Personally, if anyone knows me, they know that I can be described in one word: passionate. For me, leading a passionate, purpose-filled life is not an option; it’s the only way to live. I only have one chance to make a difference and to do all that God has called me to do. My brief moment on this earth isn’t a dress rehearsal. It’s the real deal. And the same truth applies to your life. So don’t get caught up in religious games. Be authentic in your faith. Be in the world, but not of it. I believe God is going to do amazing things in you and through you!

Salt and Light

"You are the salt of the earth ... You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:13-14). I want to encourage you today to speak out and speak up! Let the fruit of God’s Spirit be seen by everyone you know. Remember, you are salt and light to this world!

He Never Breaks a Promise

Remember today that no matter how difficult a circumstance or situation in your life might be, God’s faithful love for you will remain. His blessing will continue to be on your life. You can rest in His promises to you, for they will never be broken!
